Part-Time Production Assistant

General Job Description:

Weigel Broadcasting Co. has an opening for a Part-Time Production Assistant for our morning show, The Jam, and other locally produced programs. Successful candidates should be able to work well under pressure, problem-solve, multi-task and handle changing priorities.


Working with the producers and directors to ensure program timings and shots are correct, communicating instructions to talent and guests, microphone placement, and moving cameras as necessary.

Other duties, as assigned.


Previous live television experience desired. 

Basic lighting maintenance, lighting board operation, and studio management experience a plus.

Must be able to lift and carry 40lbs.
